One check, eight countries, the official rules.
EuroKompis puts the published visa and residence rules of eight European countries side by side and compares them with your situation. Here is what that involves.
Three steps
- You answer a few questionsYour passports, your partner's passport, where your grandparents were born, your qualifications, experience and salary band, and whether you already work for a multinational. There is no sign-up, and your answers stay in your browser.
- Your answers are compared with each country's rulesEvery route we cover has published requirements, such as a salary threshold, a qualification or time with an employer. Each route is marked Strong fit, Possible or Unlikely for you, with the reason in one line.
- You decide what to look intoCountries are ranked by how well they fit. Every route links to the official government page. Each country also lists its largest employers and how many people from your country moved there recently.

Questions
Is the check free?
Yes. The check, the official links and the employer lists are free. Only private sessions with Erik are paid.
Is this immigration advice?
No. EuroKompis gives general information about published visa routes, so you can see your options and ask better questions. For advice on your own case, speak to a registered immigration adviser or a lawyer in the country you are considering.
What happens to my answers?
They are processed in your browser to show your results, and we don't store them. If you request a session, you choose what to share with us.
Does it work for any nationality?
Yes. The visa rules apply to anyone without an EU passport. Figures on how many people have already moved are shown for South Africans first, with more nationalities to follow.
Why these eight countries?
They are where most professionals we speak to are looking, and where English is widely used at work in many companies. More countries will follow.
